A/N: Double drabble.
“Times like this, I really wish I had a proper video camera,” Ianto muttered as he aimed his phone, trying to capture events for posterity, or at the very least, for Tosh’s entertainment. “We should get one, keep it in the SUV. Never know when it might be needed.”
A few feet away, Jack was snapping stills with his own phone, while Owen was struggling to treat his latest patient. He wasn’t having an easy time of it, although the injured alien was doing its best to assist him.
The being was considerably taller than Owen, and thanks to its head injury, incurred when its spacecraft had crash-landed, it got dizzy if it tried to bend. Since there was nothing for Owen to stand on, the alien had decided to lift him up using one of its long, writhing tentacles. It might have worked, except that the patient was having a bit of trouble getting the medic the right way around, since it couldn’t see the top of its own head.
At present, Owen was dangling upside down by one ankle, trying to use his hands to ‘walk’ over to the injury.
“I’d better be getting hazard pay for this!”
