A/N: Double drabble.
Tosh sneezed loudly and blew her nose again, sounding rather like a foghorn, much to Owen’s amusement. She was usually so elegant and ladylike, really far too good for the likes of Owen Harper, but not right now.
“Stubid code,” she grumbled in a startlingly deep, croaky voice, another symptom of her ailment. “I barely god any sleeb las night.” Every time she’d managed to drift off she’d woken herself by sneezing or coughing.
Owen wrapped his arms around his girlfriend in a comforting hug. “You should’ve told me. Don’t worry about a thing, my love; you’re dating a doctor, I can give you something that’ll help you sleep tonight.”
“You can?” Tosh looked up at him with wide, watering, red-rimmed eyes.
“I promise.”
The next morning, Tosh woke up feeling refreshed. Her cold hadn’t gone but she’d slept for a good eight hours without waking up once, and she felt so much better for it.
“Owen, that was amazing! Thank you, I slept like a log!”
“I know.” Owen gazed blearily at his girlfriend; he loved her, but he was exhausted. “You snored all night long. It was like lying next to a chainsaw; even wearing earplugs didn’t help.”
