Summary: When Buffy looks at Angel, all she sees is the man she loves.

Buffy touches Angel’s face tenderly, examining the cut near his eye. It looks nasty and he flinches away, making her smile and accuse him of being a big baby.
“I’m not gonna hurt you.” That’s perhaps not entirely true, the wound is bound to be sore, but still she’s never taken her big bad vampire boyfriend for a wimp.
“It’s not that. You shouldn’t have to touch me when I’m like this.”
“Oh.”
They say that love is blind, and maybe it is because she never even noticed he was in vamp face.
Makes no difference; she kisses him anyway.
