Double Drabble: Undaunted

Summary: Torchwood’s latest Rift arrival appears to be quite aggressive.

A/N: Double drabble.
While they were far less common than the alien tech and other inanimate objects that fell through the Rift, aliens of all shapes, sizes, colours, and levels of intelligence also had the bad luck of being unceremoniously dumped in Cardiff against their will.
The intelligent, peaceful beings were relatively easy to deal with; their situation could be explained and arrangements made to either accommodate them or send them home. Hostile sentient invaders were also quite straightforward, and usually got sent back where they came from.
The non-sentient creatures were a different matter entirely; they couldn’t be reasoned with, lacking the mental capacity. Some were terrified, others were dangerous and had to be destroyed, and others were so bizarre it was difficult to know what to do with them.
This one…
“What’s it doing?” Jack stared at their latest uninvited guest in complete bewilderment.
Beside him, Ianto cocked his head to one side. “I believe it’s preparing to charge.”
“But…”
There they stood, the full Torchwood team, armed and dangerous, and there it was, the size of a guinea pig, with tiny little horns, pawing at the ground with a miniscule foot.
It charged, ran into Jack’s foot, and fell over.
