It was not, perhaps, the most ideal of situations, but Penny and her husband, Alastor Moody, had discovered that there was no one else to ask to babysit their daughter that night. And so, arming him with a list of things not to do, they had asked Blaise to look after their child while they were at the Order meeting.

Blaise, being Blaise, had glanced once at the list and when they had gone, had tossed it into a corner and promptly forgotten about it.
