Michael doesn't mean to get sick. Really, he doesn't - none of them have time for it, not with how many shows they've got ahead of them and how many songs they're still fixing up - but the fact still stands that he's tucked up in bed, two boxes of tissues by his side, and his forehead poking out from underneath the blankets.
He's on bed rest, under his mum's (and their managing team's) orders, officially confined to the small space of the hotel room while the rest of the band are sent off to write songs or go shopping or something (he may have been half asleep when they told him where they were off too, but no one could blame him). They'd left a couple of hours ago, though, and now that the medicine's finally sort of kicking in, Michael's left to feel sorry for himself, all alone, with nothing but mindless daytime TV and the hopes that whatever he has will clear up before they have to fly off tomorrow.
The thought of flying has him rolling over, tucking his head underneath the covers again, because no one
