I never thought I would get overly emotional over a One Direction album - but this one has taken me completely by surprise. I was looking forward to it, but I wasn't overly excited (I know - you are horrified by that little confession). I can't WAIT for it to come out now and everyone I know is going to HATE me for the number of times I will tell them they have to listen to it because it is utterly brilliant ( ... )

yes. yes YES ALL OF THAT YES! I am soooo proud of how this album has turned out. They've taken what worked and what they loved playing on tour and just TURNED IT UP for this album. and yeah, obviously a few songs are made for the stadium tour but still - the quieter stuff is just absolutely beautiful and their writing is coming along SO WELL. But they really do have some great help with that - McFly for one know how to write pop/rock ballads that work.

i'm dying. the 3rd is usually the make or break and this is going to take them into overdrive. Not one shitty song in the bunch!

I really hope people start taking them a bit more seriously after this one - it is so good.

There are a couple of songs I'm not overly keen on - but only a couple. And that is because I don't really get them (yes I am looking at you LBD and Diana) and have only listened them to once. They might end up being like Over Again and BSE and I might end up loving them once I've heard them live. Which we WILL be doing!

It is great they've got some serious song writers working with them - Gary Lightbody and the McFly boys. We all knew after Don't Let Me Go happened that they had it in them to write amazing stuff.

Diana is just. IDGI? I mean they're writing is really becoming amazing but for these boys who don't want to .. idk focus on ONE fan in a million to have a song with a girls name AIMED at one girl? Idk im not a fan. HOW do you not like LBD? its so naughty and laddy and PERFECT!

i actually want this more than i want my birthday this year. And I usually love my birthday because i have a week off but.. I JUST WANT ALL THE TIME TO WALLOW IN MIIIIIIIDNIGHT MEEMOOORRREEEEZZZZZZZ thats all

YES! And Jacknife Lee i mean. this is a KILLER album. i'm pretty sure my bro-in-law will LOVE IT and actually have to admit to that. out loud.
