Woohoo @ TVD and GA love again! I was very depressed about the last TVD episode, I'm such a Stelena fan by heart.

I am going to start watching two new shows early next year (at least new to me), Homeland and The Walking Dead, I asked Santa for those first season DVDs for XMas :-). I think I'm pretty much giving up on watching shows that are only in the first season- the last 2 years all my faves have been cancelled

omg i started watching The Walking Dead yesterday - though i muted a LOT of it and focused on folding my washing for a bit because I JUST DONT DO SCARY MOVIES AND TV but its really good? (although i'm only 2 episodes in and afriend said the second season sucks but.. ) Oh see now I AM HAPPY because DAMON AND ELENA AND FINALLY because they're my otp lol though i kind of want caroline/... omg what's the original vamp boys name that's evil and english? I can't remember. i want them as a pairing anyhoo.

i've seen good things about homeland! but i don't think i'd watch it. i never got into 24 and it seems a bit like that?

My Friday night was going quite swimmingly until I agreed to be a bridesmaid for the girl who was my first friend-from-the-internet/possible-girlfriend? I haven't seen her in about 9 years though, and in that time we have totally grown apart but she still considers me one of her BFFs regardless (idk WHY, I'm the worst friend ever) I'm just a total awkward turtle about it because I don't care about her kid or know anything about the fiancé other than his name is Kevin and he's possibly in the military somehow. But, she'd pay for my flight and I feel like I should probably make the effort since she always flew here to see me.

I have until June 2014 to like, die or something. I am pretty sure that's the only way I'm getting out of this.

Nine years is a LONG time. is she having anyone else or just you? because you could eventually just.. idk wait a night and then ring her back and say your not into it, we hardly know each other anymore etc

Like, obviously if she still thinks that I should be standing up in her wedding, of all the possible friends in her life, then maybe she doesn't HAVE a lot of close friends, so that's kind of sad and I just couldn't say "nope, sorry, I'm going to be too busy in June of 2014 to travel 3000km and celebrate your happiness." That could also be not true and she's just randomly asking me because I would probably never make the effort to see her again otherwise? I don't know. It all seems like an elaborate ploy.

To be fair, though, it's kind of a dick move on her part to ask me to be excited about her engagement when my own relationship is going through some shitty times (but I would probably be equally as insensitive to the needs of others if I were the one getting married.)
