I go through phases with mine - sometimes I'm super into wearing my glasses and other times I'm all about the contacts. Or maybe their stylist won't let him wear them..?

Ugh, I can't imagine wearing contacts full-time. I hate mine, and rarely wear them. They're very much only for special occasions... like for wearing costumes or going to 3D movies.
