Oh man, the whole video basically just a Zayn!fest of WONDERS. I love the reminder that he is just an absolute enormous nerd who likes comics and fame hasn't "changed him"... the whole "pretending that we're cool" line is really spot on in this song because for every brooding mysterious pouting twitpic, there's a... whatever this is.

yes to all those things! its just.. its perfect. i listened to it on repeat on the way to work on friday morning and couldn't stop grinning like a fool all day (probably cuz one of the small type people got me to put it on repeat and then i just HAD to share the vid with her and she was VERY excited - LOOK AT ZAYN CASS! LOUIS PUSHED LIAM IN THE WATER! HARRY JUST LET THE BALL IN BETWEEN HIS LEGS! i flove her - and because we were talkign about her favourites and when i said 'oh, noone gets liam? - "no, he's YOUR favourite" bless you small child lol

Ahahahaha I love reactions from non-Directioners! I was somewhat-complaining about how I couldn't get the song out of my head even if I wanted to, and my pal insisted that we watch the video. She's a hair-stylist and therefore had a lot of opinions about their styling in the video (she hates Zayn's skunk-stripe a LOT-- I had to insist that he was going through a phase.)

More interestingly, when we got to the bit at the end where Louis gets his six seconds of song and then they dunk him in the pool, she wondered if he was the youngest of the group because of the way they sort of manhandle him. I had to explain that while he doesn't get to sing as much, he's actually the oldest and defacto leader of the group. It was neat to get an outside perspective on their interaction.

I'm pretty sure she's a directioner - she's only 5 but she knows ALL the words to UAN album - gets me to sing them with her, can pick out whose voice is whose and knows ALL THEIR NAMES lol

that's a really interesting reaction to Louis, he does sort of lead them with Liam - or is more outspoken than the rest? but I think they all really do their fair share of leading nowadays. Niall doing interviews on his own, harry out and about and louis and twitter LMFAO ;o)

YES WE SHOULD DISCUSS LWWY ALL THE TIME! I think my favorite part is all the parts, because the video is flawless and the song makes me giggle and bounce around. I want to call my area's top 40 radio station and demand they play it, but nowadays I think you tweet requests to the station? I haven't called a radio station since probably 1998, so I don't know.

There's like a second of the video when they're riding in the Jeep and it's a close up of Zayn and his hair is a wind blown mess, and I'm patiently waiting for a BTS or 'making of' where Zayn complains about his hair getting messed up. Even if that doesn't happen, I'm still waiting for the 'making of' because that's my favorite part of the One Thing video.

you don't feel that Liam is a focus in interviews? idk.. i've always found him to be the most vocal apart from Louis and Niall interupting and Harry nearly always sounding serious. Maybe i don't watch enough interviews which i don't because it brings out these FEELINGS and i want to DIE several times over

ugh isn't it just.. the greatest pop tune. Its catchy, it has cow bell and a dance and boys being idiots and they ALL Get featured (which really they should be)

That's exactly what I love about One Thing! I mean, it's so rare when a group has 5 talented cute idiots. No weak links. Maybe some are stronger singers, but nothing that's like that obvious. They are singing fun pop songs, lol. so i appreciate this song sfm
