Uhm. I'm going to start with Nick because he's the freshest in my mind at the moment. go go gay lawyers >:

SO okay let's start with why Nick became a lawyer. The way I see it, fourth grade got him started on the obsession and provided most of the main drive for it. When he got to college, he...um...had problems with the practical side of things (he went to ART SCHOOL to be a LAWYER wtf) but got straightened out (lol) by Mia. The driving force behind him becoming a defense attorney has always been Edgeworth. First he wanted to be one because Edgeworth defended him in fourth grade, then he wanted to be one because Edgeworth became a prosecutor and Nick wanted to OMG SEE HIM AGAIN, and then he continued to be a defense attorney in order to spite Edgeworth's memory. (And also for other reasons; I figure by the beginning of game 2, Edgeworth wasn't quite as big of a reason. Still there, but.)

Okay, so. The game roll around. NICK GETS TO SEE EDGEY AGAIN OMG YAY :DDD ... except not quite so omg yay because he's a prosecutor and

WE HAVE ONLY BEEN HERE A WEEK BUT ALREADY NICK HAS THOUGHTS. Edgeworth is a very interesting homosexual.1) Edgeworth is cute. ... okay that should probably be up in the canon section. But Nick's already caught a few glimpses of Edgeworth's soft side that he really hasn't seen before. The mention of the dog really threw him, for example; for some reason he really couldn't see Edgeworth owning a pet. Much less a dog

If Nick and Shin met Rin, then the encounter was brief and uneventful 'cause I sure don't remember what they think of her. XD

Mal's impression of her is very vague; he just knows that Robert thinks decently-ish of her, or at least doesn't bitch at her like he does at most people. Plus, she seems to be a grumy broken kid, which kinda pings him hard. :( Oh you silly broken people.

Roxas likes Rin! A little grumpy maybe, but her relationship with Hatsuharu reminds him of his own relationship with Axel, and that...earns a big heaping amount of sympathy points. Combine that with the fact that she, like the other Sohma, didn't have any problems with the adoption thing...yeah. Roxas likes you a lot. >: Also he thinks you're pretty BUT THOSE THOUGHTS ARE PRETTY RARE

Y-yes I think so. XD MAL STILL REMEMBERS HOW EVERY CONVERSATION HE HAS WITH LADY INVOLVES GUNS SOMEHOW. Also, that first impression of Lady that Nick got will be imprinted in his mind FOREVER. j-jello wresting wtf.

Miaaaaa. D: It goes without saying that Nick really absolutely looks up to her and trusts her judgement. Losing her on the second case was more devastating to him than he let on, I think; having to defend Maya right then and there gave him something to DO about the situation rather than sit around and feel depressed. Still, Nick's a bit guilty about her death. Even though he does get to see her at almost every case. ... and is frustratingly vague. HE'S STILL GLAD TO SEE YOU REALLY MIA. Also, her being alive in camp makes him very very happy. He's not even worried about her dying again once they go back, 'cause...hey, at least things are better here. :Dd

He is also very grateful that you saved him from the evil girlfriend who tried to kill him. Even if you did make him cry. :(
