I am victorious!!!
So I went to consultation with my thesis adviser today and she hasn't fully read my revised proposal yet but she says she likes it so far, the ideas and what I want to convey are more concrete and, ahem, I'm a really good writer. Daw. She said. Hee.

Before we get ahead of ourselves, here's my adviser's advised plan of action. I'll revise my proposal after we meet next week and talk to my desired panel members about being on my panel. I give them a copy of my revised proposal two weeks before the defense. By the time I get to defend, they'll have a lot of ideas and suggestions about what I want to do and may sway my paper somehow, which is why my adviser is advising me to not write anything more at this point. I think I'll continue researching histories, because we always need to research the histories right? But okay, I won't write. At least, not pages and pages of complete thoughts.
Suggest you take this under advisement.
