I'm thinking of buying a French-English-French Dictionary, not because I'm going to finish learning French (i.e., be able to speak fluently), but because it would be good for me to know the exact translations of the ballet terms. I'm thinking it can be good for teaching. I know a lot of stuff already, but it would help if I knew what ecarte meant ( Read more... )

my french 2 prof said temps lie literally means "time binds". i don't know how "time binds" translates to the ballet step temps lie, though. hehe... maybe i can analyze it with my french 3 prof this coming term. hehe!

may naisip ako, o diba. (whaddayasay?) like you get from one point (or tendu) to the next as if time slowed down for you to do so. whatcha think? what about it? :)
