nikki/helen, everybody's free, chapter 1
This is morass, on a new fic journal that I've literally just set up. I've only posted twice here before so you probably won't remember me, but I'm here with something a bit longer this time.
Title: Everybody's Free, Chapter 1

Pairing: Nikki/Helen, eventually.
Rating: Nothing naughty in this chapter - or for a while, I suspect.
Disclaimer: Characters (and some of the dialogue in this fic) belong to Shed Productions, not me.
Word-count: 3500 approx.
Concept: What if Gossard hadn't died, and Nikki had had a decent solicitor first time round?
Spoilers: Well, this starts at the beginning, and will reflect the events in Larkhall throughout as much of the series as it takes for me to finish, though I'll be extrapolating how they might've happened without Nikki Wade's presence. So the answer is: I'm not sure.
Notes: This is a WIP, and I'm terrible at finishing things. I also have no idea how long it's going to be, because I'm basically planning to work through Helen's time in Larkhall sans Nikki (inside, anyway), and seeing how long it takes for her to crack under the strain! It should hopefully be an interesting read as a stand-alone conceptual piece anyway, though.
