The great part about this? Where I work, there's a copy of Golden Showers: The Complete Guide to Urine Therapy from the reign of the previous bookbuyer. And the cover does not do it justice.

That book has the most hilarious pencil drawings, ever. They're all of a young woman using urine in various "clinical" applications--which would be bad enough, if she didn't look so dang chipper about the whole thing. My favorite? Her weirdly contented smile as she preforms a urine eyewash.

The book also has this great diagram about how urine therapy isn't practiced more often, because The Conspiracy Behind Horrors Of Modern Medicine doesn't want you using your own urine to heal, but rather to buy their product. The argument isn't so funny--it's the wacky diagram.

Ah, to work in a natural healing store. And this is where I think, for the billionth time, that I really need to get off my duff and make an icon of House saying, "What the hell is a 'shen'? And how come it's lop-sided?" for all my "omg, my customers are on crack" posts.
