So, hi, I've been lurking for a while and decided to post, because I finally ran across something that made me *headdesk* enough to post here.

First of all - the MR page on ff.net is a wonderous treasure trove of badfics. Looking down the front page right now, I see two Twilight crossovers, six "secret sister" fics, one "Max suddenly learns how to

And doncha just love the names? Bleh. If my name was anything like Isabella Francesca Adaira Satine Sparks, I'd possibly kill myself in shame.

The books? I love them. There's a bunch of plot holes all over the place, but they make me laugh.

The fandom? Hellz yeah, it's terrible. I've found maybe ONE author that hasn't made me want to gag. Nobody writes anything but Fang/Max, and anytime Iggy (my favorite) is in a fic, he gets violently shoved into a gaping plot hole and pops up every few chapters to be OOC. *bah*

And yes, if my name were anywhere near that...I would kill myself in shame as well.

MR is basically a less famous version of Twilight, with bad scientific explanations for everything as opposed to no explanations whatsoever, so I'm not surprised by the fanfic. I ventured into it once- never again.

Ehhhh I wouldn't go so far as to compare it to Twilight. MR's characters are a lot more tolerable. =X

But the fanfic is terrible. =(

That's true- but at least Twilight had some half-decent villains. The first time I came across the 'Uber-Director', I honestly thought it was a joke.

Everything in the MR series past the third book is a joke, imo. I only reread the fourth one for the Iggy scenes. -_-
