[Mello rarely sleeps, although he did the night before mostly do to exhaustion. It's lucky he didn't actually go to bed as otherwise he'd have woken up naked on someone's cold floor rather than in a pair of skinny jeans. He sits bolt up right reaching for his gun (which was left in his room.) They're in a bedroom. Emmett's bedroom to be precise

So she can move us through time and space without us knowing. Somehow. Dammit, I guess she's proved that already. But this isn't the same kind of leap. It pretty much means we have no goddamn power over anything here! And if it was part of her "staff" who was it? We've only seen a fucking rabbit!

[Mello looks irritable, but you'd be irritable too sitting half naked on the floor, unarmed, with his entire scar visible]

[Ichabod stirred in his bed when he heard the commotion and sat straight up only to be pulled by chains attached to both wrists with an angry Mello and someone that he's seen on the network but doesn't really know. He panics]

What is going on here?

(he looks and just blinks for a very long time. Eventually he raises his eyebrows and says one word...)

[He looks at Emmett and blinks.]

[His hand moves to the scar and rubs it gently.]

One of these guys has the key, they'll unlock it when they get bored. It's kinda fun in the meantime.

So far looks more like you're arguing with the detective over maybe helping em with a solution.

[He finally takes a breath, nearly jerking back when he breathes in something beyond smoke.]

I assure you I am doing nothing but answering Detective M's questions as he asks them.

[That earns a glance over his shoulder.] Smell, sir?

[It's very likely this... THING's senses are somewhat enhanced, given his dual nature. But who even knows how that translates to the abomination's senses. If it's any consolation, Eddie, you smell pretty bad to him, too. :|]
