[It's a swirling mass of images in his brain, walkers, a whole damn horde of them and then it skips, Rick and Sophia are missing but only Rick comes back

[There was something about him...not just his hair, but...he didn't seem like the kind man that she had known before.
She knew all too well what it was like, coming back to this place after being back at home...thankfully, she'd somewhat adapted once more. As well as with her newest handicap, though she had yet to explore it. Making the decision to contact him, she hopes to calm him down and find out exactly what happened to him.]
[Rick's eyes, they were angry with him but he had been honest, just like he wanted and it angered Shane. He was trying to survive here, he was trying to keep all of them alive, or at least Rick, Lori and Carl. It was making his head hurt. He knew this was some sort of memory thing, even as he picks up the shotgun at his side.
He nearly steps on the communicator until he hears her voice, it helps some of the fog clear, he leans down and picks the device up.
He is not the same, it still shows in every move and line of his body.]
Yeah?
[He is not sure what to say, he can feel some of it coming back, he knew what was going on but it filtered at the edge of his mind, right out of reach from complete understanding.]
[She was puzzled...he was so very different from what she remembered. The sweet man that had offered her a seat and had a simple, civil, conversation with her. She wasn't scared of him though...not that she had a reason to fear anything anymore, but she doubted that she'd ever be truly scared of Shane. She had a set image in her mind of him and she'd hold onto it.
Allen had come for her though...she needed to make sure that he was completely okay and intact.]
Where are you...I want to see you.
[Rick was gone. He didn't need to be told that over the phone, it was something to be said in person.]
[Shane's head cleared enough to know he was almost near the manor. That he had been here before and that here was not home. He knew her, her name was Vivien. But that did not clear the pain and torment that raced through his veins. He was trying to survive, he was trying to keep them alive. And for that, he had sold his soul, what as different was that Shane had been forced by circumstances to become harder, colder, a murderer. He was not out to hurt anyone, he never had been, but in the end he was in his mind morphing slowly into a monster after what he had done to Otis.]
Almost to the door now, not sure that's such a good idea. Ain't quite the same no more and I need to find Rick.
[It all had to be for something, Carl had to live, Otis had to die. Rick, Rick had to make it, after everything he just was not ready to hand over his best friend to his maker...again.]
