Probably. Maybe. Hopefully. All of John's hate lie with the Batterwitch, so there wasn't much room for anyone else. Not really.
Didn't stop him from worrying about it, though.
In the moment that he was about to approach John, he'd brought his hand up to pinch at the bridge of his nose in an attempt to relieve pressure. It wasn't cool to go around blowing your nose in the hallways, so he hadn't though to bring kleenex with him or something. It meant he missed seeing John at first, at least until he noticed familiar blue out of the corner of his eye ( ... )

[Once he was close enough, he was extremely careful with how he moved. He was slow and pointed about it, to show Dave he was just intending to take the juice, and everything about his posture bled apology. He kept eye contact, though, and found Dave's hand to carefully pry his fingers from the jug of juice.]
...you're not wearing your shades. [The assessment was belated, and the only time John looked away from the ruddy brown of Dave's eyes.]

When he realized, he let John pry his fingers free and sort of leaned a bit so he could rest a shoulder into the nearby wall. Almost immediately, though he was sore and tired and very much full of misery, he seemed to actually relax, as if the unspoken apology was accepted and things were right as rain again.
He sniffled, which said otherwise. But at least between them it was.
With the assessment, he shrugged a little sluggishly. ] Sure as shit didn't wanna break 'em, 'n the Manor made me kinda funny, anyways. No timey-wimey shit, no tickin'. [ He pointed to his eyes. ] Not m'eyes.
