[Well. This was to be expected, even though some might be surprised that Ryuutaro isn't a full shark after he's been constantly associated with those. Instead he's... what? A shark!Mermaid? His lower half is definitely that of a shark, but his upper body is like it always has been. He even got make-up for this event... though it's not so much make- ( Read more... )

[And but of course the ever clingy loyal boyfriend is nearby. He... really wasn't up to a plot like this. Usually he would be spazzing and flailing and trying to take notes on everything and examining all the details and going out to look for UMAs... but he still felt lethargic. He was better than he had been the past few months, but not quite up to par.

He he just sits next to his boyfriend and leans his head against the smaller boy's. Hayato of course, was bare-chested- though he seemed to lack his usual confidence with it. Constantly holding his arms over his stomach to hide the most recent scar]

I can't help it. I'm a shark, the Author is right with that after all.

[There was just this odd habit in his world of endlessly identifying with the representative animal of their bey's constellation. Just as Kyouya was a lion or Daidouji was wolf, as Reiji was a snake... Ryuutaro was a shark.]

[A shark... for some reason Hayato couldn't really see it. To him a shark was a mean cold monstrous fish... Ryuutaro was warm, and soft... and took such good care of him... especially now... and he had the nicest smile.

Hayato sighed. It felt like it had been forever since he had smiled last... but for some reason he didn't even feel like he could force one.]

[Nice? Ryuutaro looked a bit more amused for a moment. He didn't think of himself as nice... Not with anybody else than Hayato at least. It probably made sense for Hayato to think so. He'd always just seen a friendly and warm Ryuutaro, because for some reason he brought that side out.]

Do I now? I'm flattered. But I'm afraid sharks and I share quite a lot of personality traits.

[And it was how he wanted it to be. Being with Pisces, living Pisces, it was his duty as a blader. His bey and he were one.]

[Yeah, that's a sea turtle with a very familiar chameleon who seems utterly unperturbed by being underwater riding on the shell. A pretty small sea turtle, too - the curse's carried over, and it's just lucky that Leon's as tiny as ever.]

[Actually where did that turtle come from, he's probably noticeable around when he's about four or five feet away - aka "nobody should get that close without being noticed".]

Ciaossu~ It's good to see this plot's been decent for most. [And as much as he's the one with the most annoying shift, he's pretty placid about it; turtle, two year old, whatever.]

[Sea turtle. Well, it was not surprising considering where they were at the moment. Only the voice however makes Ryuutaro realize who this is.
He's not thrilled to meet him, but he was a lot more stable than back at their first meeting.
He raised the shell like he'd do with his fan]

Indeed, it's pleasant, compared to the dangerous things she puts us through.
