Hello? [Fran sat up, taking in the area where she now found herself. Being surrounded by trees wasn't particularly alarming to her, but this was not where she recalled having fallen asleep

[Weiss has seen a few animals, thanks to animal week, and can't even begin to understand how a pet can start talking if it's not Gokudera as a cat- or a human pet. But this pet has ears.]
[She tilts her head at him slightly, not quite sure what to make of the sound he'd just made. Was it some form of greeting, perhaps? It wasn't something that she'd heard humes use in greeting previously, but this seemed to be a rather odd place. But he might be able to tell her something about where she found herself. It didn't seem that she was confined or trapped, which was a benefit.]
[Weiss looks dumbfounded into the machine in front of him, taking a little moment to play with his lip, then makes an upside down V with his hands, meaning 'house'.]
[Fran frowns a little at the apparent lack of speech from this rather odd hume. What he intends to communicate isn't entirely clear to her, although he might, perhaps, be indicating some sort of dwelling.] A building, is it? [She decides not to ask if the hume can actually speak or not. If he wishes to, and is able, he will. It's not something to be pried at.]
[Video -> action (what him? Miss fran? Don't know what you're on about XD)] soiled_my_cuffsOctober 10 2011, 21:55:22 UTC
[He regarded the familiar face on the screen.] ....Fran?
[Recognising where she was, he moved fast. He'd missed her. More than he cared to admit. He was jogging lightly until he got to the edge of the forest, where he slowed to his usual saunter as he pushed through the brush.
there was a smile on his face as he leaned against the nearest tree to her.]
And here I was thinking you were going to leave the leading man to play out his newest story alone. I shouldn't have doubted you, clearly. [But With Fran and balthier? Much more went said when unsaid. In this case "I missed you". After all, she was his nearest and dearest friend, since she had helped him find himself those few years ago.]
[She managed a very slight smile at Balthier's familiar face as she got to her feet. Even if she wasn't certain of her location, the fact that he was here was something of a comfort. Although the manner in which he reacted suggested that they had been apart for far longer than perhaps a few minutes. While that might be possible, she didn't think that she'd been asleep for that long. No. There was something amiss here - some trickery at work.] Without companion or partner, that would be quite a lonely story, I think.
[With a few steps she closed the distance between them, standing close to Balthier without appearing to physically be in his personal space. Fran took a moment to quickly check him over. The sky pirate appeared to be in good health, even if the way he was acting was slightly perplexing. She raised her eyes to his, asking a question:] You've not been waiting long, I hope.

Not long at all. [despite the small smile and the words, his eyes told a different story. He had been without her for months. He had known before that if she left him now, she'd take away the biggest part of him was ever not with him, he'd miss her. He hadn't realised just... how much.]
[Action] If she lives him now, she'll take away the very heart of him? /helpswardofthewoodOctober 12 2011, 08:33:28 UTC
Lies. [It's more a statement than an accusation. Balthier had been here for a while - wherever "here" was. Although for how long, she could not yet be certain.] It was just a few moments ago, that I last recall having seen you.
[She had, in fact, just been with him before finding herself waking up in these woods.] What is this place? [Fran glanced around at the unfamiliar foliage once more before returning her attention to the sky pirate.] Is it not Ivalice? [The question is more formality than anything. She's certain that this isn't anyplace known to her, but if Balthier has been here longer, he undoubtedly has some information of their current predicament.]
[Video] Fran I am so sorry. /)_(\ You look like a familiar and she is tired.hasilluminateOctober 10 2011, 22:56:31 UTC
Ah- it's a communications device. [Tiny blonde thing... appears to be lit by the screen and in somewhere dark.] Um-- if you don't mind me asking... you sort of look like... um...
Are you a familiar...? [She misses her familiar. Kind of a lot. And you sort of resemble a humanoid-form familiar...]
[Video] She won't hold it against you. <3wardofthewoodOctober 11 2011, 11:02:49 UTC
[A communications device. She had assumed as much. When the small hume asks her question, Fran tilts her head just the tiniest bit, narrowing her eyes very slightly.] Familiar? No. You've not seen viera before, hume?
[Video] Aww.hasilluminateOctober 11 2011, 21:36:55 UTC
No. Back on my world, people with ears and some features like yours are more likely to be a mage's familiar... [Ow, she doesn't want to think about familiars right now. Because if she hadn't been born and Alicia had lived, Arf would have died...]
On your world? [That part catches her attention more than the rest. Viera are certainly not mage's familiars and although the concept of such is slightly foreign to her, it's the mention of other worlds that merits concern.] And what is this place that it would not be your world?
[Since Rapunzel still wasn't use to said technology, she hadn't of noticed the post, but she was outside, her 70ft of hair trailing along behind her as she soon stopped upon spotting someone she had never seen before.]
[Fran blinks at the unexpected arrival of this hume with... oddly long hair. The hair is actually slightly more confusing than the hume herself. It seems like it would be rather cumbersome. Actually, Fran had never seen anyone - hume or otherwise - with hair that long.
It's not worth mentioning though, so she tilts her head slightly.]
[Moving in closer, her hair trailing along behind her as she leant in slightly, bunny lady is not something she has n=ever seen before. Then again there isn't much that she has seen before.]
Yes, apparently we have all arrived at a place called the Manor, but I've never seen you around here, so you must be new.
I am not familiar with this... Manor. Where is it located? [The way that this hume girl talked, though, made Fran think that this was probably not Ivalice. She and Balthier had been all across Ivalice in their line of business. And she'd never seen a Woods such as this, nor heard of a place called "The Manor."]
These? [Fran moves a hand up to lightly touch an ear, frowning a little.] Yes. You have not seen viera here? [Although they seldom left the Woods, she certainly hadn't been the first or only of her kind to do so. That this hume was not familiar with viera was of some concern. What was this place?]
