★ Spell 1 ★ [Willow Rosenberg - IN PERSON]

[The woman is moving swiftly down the corridor. She'd been chucked in this strange place, and as usual in her life? There were monsters. She had rolled her eyes, before the pulse pounding terror and running had started. But this god damn castle, she kept getting turned back on herself ( Read more... )

[Dean had been fairly happy to just stick around and make sure his family was safe. The princess... well, he'd met Kanda, and knew the guy had a sword (he didn't know Kanda couldn't use it), so he figured that was alright. Meaning he'd been killing monsters too close to him and his family without playing whatever the hell game the author had decided she wanted them to play this week.

Why? He was pissed that his car was currently the horse he was riding on.

He rode it towards where he could smell the blood suddenly coming from. He arrived just in time to see the beast that was thrown crash into the wall inches from where he was, and he rounded the corner. He hopped off, landing nimbly, and just said to the horse] Stables.

[it snorted, and galloped off, but not before kicking a monster behind it with enough force to knock it into dean with a bloody wound, who just snapped it's neck. He made his way down the corridor fast, and met Willow with] Another magic user. New here? [As he swung his sword in a low arc to rest at his side ( ... )

I guess the dress gave me away.

[She commented somewhat sarcastically, as the weapons she was manipulating found their marks, impaling the beasts on the wall behind them.]

Whoever thinks an actual witch dresses like this is a complete moron and should be repeatedly beaten with a broomstick and attacked by rabid black cats!

[She was tenderly lifting the sleeve of her dress to reveal a rather harsh looking wound.]

Damn.

[Despite the situation, he had to laugh at the proposed punishment.] The author tends to have a terrible sense of humour and irony.

[oh wait. New. Explination time] We're not normally here, this is just the most recent... 'vacation'. We're normally in a place called the manor, and you were brought here by a chick just called 'The author'.

It's hard to believe, completely crazy, but true.

[Ah. that's quite nasty.] Do you need some help with that, or can you 'abracadabra' it away. [his tone and smile is lightly teasing as he says abracadabra. but then it drops as he hears another monster approaching at the end of the corridor behind him.] ...either way, we need to find somewhere a bit safer.

I can 'abracadabra' it away if I get a minute or two to myself.

[....]

So what you're saying is, somehow, I've managed to be put into another alternate reality.

[She sighs.]

At least I'm not a vampire here. Cause Vamp-me was creepy.

*Kaito hadn't done much at the beginning of the week, just stuck to his room and only sneaking out for food, but late Thursday a monster had busted through his window, forcing him to flee to the halls. He avoided conflict as long as possible, but when he saw a young woman getting attacked his body moved on autopilot.

He picked up a potted plant and pitched it at the nearest creature, not seeing her own power at first as he focused on the monsters. The pot smashed into its head and it turned with a hiss on him*

[And as that monster takes it's time to look at him? The woman goes into hero mode herself. She looks at it concentrating, and then clenches her fist.

It looks like it's choking, before she violently throws the monster out of the nearby window. The weapons that were floating around her found their targets, stabbing a couple of the monsters in the hall.]

*he blinks and heads for the window. The monster lay crumpled on the ground, twitching. Letting out a slight whistle, he turns just in time to see a new enemy, drawn by the sounds of battle, appear out of a door. He tries to duck under a swipe of its claws and rolls to the side to get some space, wincing at the pain slicing across his shoulder. The monster gave chase, and he leads it down the hall a ways before jumping onto a thin table and against the wall. Using the stone as a secure launch pad, the thief spins in the air, driving his heels into the creature's throat. His weight pushes it into the floor, and he kicks it in the head once more for good measure before turning away to make sure there aren't any more showing up right away*

[By the time he gets back, Willow will have killed the others.]

Are you okay?

[You'll notice how the wound on her arm is also much less prominent.]

You should be careful sweetie.

[The opposite door swings open and in charges Sam. He's dressed in at least the most pratical, if not still ridiculous looking clothes he can find. But they're fitted for movement, which is what matters to the hunter. Weilding a heavy sword, he steps forward and swings, putting every inch of his not-inconsiderable weight behind the blow. The next monster's head bounces down the corridor.

[Seeing the weapons floating gives him only the briefest pause, but he sets the confusion aside and charges again, swinging the blade with deadly efficency.]

[Willow waves her uninjured arm, the weapons going into battle, impaling and slicing the creatures left alive. She halts for a moment before looking to the man cautiously.]

Thanks.

[Sam's been at the Manor long enough that displays like that don't quite throw him as hard as they used to. He offers her a hand up.] Handy trick, there. Are you okay?

Yeah. I will be in a second.

[The woman crouches down and puts a hand to the floor. She takes a deep breath. Drawing in energy from her surroundings, she waves a hand over her shoulder and the wound disappears.]

There. All better. Thanks for you know.

[She makes a slashy gesture.]
