Even better? It seems Mello has turned into a child, and L has his own "bundle of joy" to deal with. With Near and B both out of the picture as well, Light had suddenly gained a large amount of leeway to experiment. The results, of course, had been quite satisfying to say the least.]

[Ally or not, not even Mikami is completely exempt from the unfortunately rare moments of schadenfreude Light has been feeling this week. It is considerably toned down, and Light does feel more sparks of sympathy towards Mikami's situation than he does for...well, anyone else, but he keeps his thoughts to himself.]

Thankfully he doesn't wake up and Mikami doesn't have too much trouble to leave again.
Getting to Light's room unnoticed was starting to become another kind of routine. Luckily Mikami wasn't a person who stood out much. Not in this place at least.
