[For whatever reason, Light woke up this week to find himself without an infant, and had decided not to look any deeper into the matter. If it was a random whim of the Author, then there would be no point in engaging in the mental exercise; he would simply appreciate the fact that while others were either turned into children, or raising babies for a week, he is free.

Even better? It seems Mello has turned into a child, and L has his own "bundle of joy" to deal with. With Near and B both out of the picture as well, Light had suddenly gained a large amount of leeway to experiment. The results, of course, had been quite satisfying to say the least.]

Mikami-san, whenever it is convenient for you, I would like to have a conversation with you.

[Mikami looks at the video and nods. When God requested his presence, he'd always be available. Thankfully the child seemed to have dozed off by now.]

[Ally or not, not even Mikami is completely exempt from the unfortunately rare moments of schadenfreude Light has been feeling this week. It is considerably toned down, and Light does feel more sparks of sympathy towards Mikami's situation than he does for...well, anyone else, but he keeps his thoughts to himself.]

[Mikami simply nods, his eyes not wandering of the screen for a single moment. He was sure he didn't need to say anything more to show his devotion and obedience to every of Light's orders. Then he ends the feed and carries the little boy to his room.
Thankfully he doesn't wake up and Mikami doesn't have too much trouble to leave again.

Getting to Light's room unnoticed was starting to become another kind of routine. Luckily Mikami wasn't a person who stood out much. Not in this place at least.
About 18 minutes later he's knocking on Light's door.]
