Fate 09 -◘[Voice]◘- Wish upon a star, fell so far from the truth

May 06, 2011 20:41

I've been thinking about the Author. I just can't believe she truly has the ability of controlling fate. It would be mocking everything fate stands for.

Instead I wonder, if it isn't simply her fate to bring us her. And ours to be here.
There's got to be some kind of deeper reason behind all of this....

A deeper meaning? Such as?

I'm not sure on that yet... Otherwise I naturally would've mentioned it.
Something to learn, something to achieve...

Sounds ridiculous.

Only if you have no experience with fate.

So you think it's our fate to be here for a reason?

Yes. It has to be that way.

Well, fate could have picked a better time.

The ways it chooses are not always understandable at first sight.

Well, I guess fate or hitsuzen could have something to do with us all being here. It's no coincidence we are here.

It's good to hear somebody agree.

You really think it's fate?

Yes. It would make sense.

[And to Ryuutaro it's so much easier to endure if he believes in this]

[Hayato lets out an irritated sigh]

Does fate always have to suck so hard?

No. Usually it's full of mercy. But even if it's bad sometimes, it... can be changed. I only experienced that once though.

[Zuko is not happy to be hearing that voice again, and, still trying to get used to his Blackberry, takes a second to figure out where it's coming from. Once he does, he scowls at the little device-- fate? Who needs it? He's been struggling with fate and destiny for three years now, and now that he's stuck in this place, doesn't want to be reminded of it.]

[With an annoyed expression, Zuko quickly begins to punch buttons on the phone, trying to figure out how to shut the damn thing up. On Ryuutaro's end, he's probably getting a helluva lot of different-toned beeping.]

[...Just... what kind of reply was this? Ryuutaro is not amused. Which is why his tone is sugarcoated as speaks in a break of those beeps]

Could you kindly stop spamming me with noise?

[Zuko freezes. Well, shit. He closes his eyes, gritting his teeth so hard they're grinding.]

It's not my fault this stupid piece of junk won't turn off. [Zuko's slightly frustrated with this whole technology thing.]

Maybe you should put a little more effort into learning how to handle it then.
