[What the fuck was the justice mother-fucking brigade doing poking around his business? Hayato couldn't handle this. The LAST thing in the WORLD he wanted was for his life to become some sob story spectacle.]
OI FUCKHEAD! THIS SHIT IS NONE OF YOUR FUCKING BUSINESS! BUTT THE FUCK OUT!
I'M SAYING MY LIFE ISN'T SOMETHING YOU HAVE A FUCKING RIGHT TO MAKE A PUBLIC SPECTACLE OUT OF! I'LL FIGURE THIS SHIT OUT ON MY OWN! STAY THE FUCK AWAY FROM ME AND MY ROOM!
[His tone becomes low, not calmer by any means, but he's not yelling]
I don't want anything to do with you or your kind. You stay out of it, or I swear to fucking god I will make you.
It's hard to make someone do something if you can't find them--and I intentionally left out any mention of your name-in case our arsonist isn't finished yet- but it's obvious he had to have known you weren't in the room at the time he set it on fire.
Huh, well, that's something that you'll have to talk to Hayato about. I only fell through the floor when I went to check on him. I'm glad he's okay but he's not happy.
Excuse my rudeness but I specifically asked for people with information to comment- telling me you're interested in the case does nothing to help me solve it.

Well, for one, he's from a mafia family, which is probably why he's reacting so spectacularly badly to your questions - his background is one where a conflict being drug public is generally avoided at all costs. In spite of that - well, what I've seen of him supports that he didn't seem to set off any alarm bells as 'trouble' himself to Hattori; he's been more inclined to try to warn others and offered something resembling advice on a certain stunt of mine - which I still need to explain to you better

Belphegor? We've met. I'm definitely keeping an eye on him. I think you're probably right in thinking he wasn't involved in this-he's a wire assassin and if he's from the mafia would likely only want to use his own methods- and if unstable he'd take pleasure in killing Hayato-san knowing he could just kill him again. Not to mention, he'd be stupid to try and get noticed this early into his stay here- and I know for a fact he's no idiot. Dangerous-but most likely not the arsonist.
The aim of arsonist clearly wasn't murder, as I stated, and I'm sure you agree. It's much more complex than that, I think.

[It's an honest question. He's not sure who this voice is and no one really told him anything.]

Also, as there is no definite evidence pointing us to the culprit I can't rule out the chance this could happen again.

You don't seem to be having much luck, Kudo-kun. [The sympathy is so obviously feigned it's sickening.]

I do have to wonder - has this method and approach ever worked here?

And I highly doubt it's the individual I know to be one of his personal enemies.
