006 - Lucy Saxon - [In Person]

Apr 13, 2011 21:03

[Lucy is freaking out more than a little. She does not like space. At all.

Her last experience of the stars did not end well for her.

If anyone sees her around she';; be very pale, very on edge, and if there's a window nearby then the chances are she'll be trembling.

Feel free to ask her why she looks like she's about to have a nervous

[Leonardo smiles brightly when he see's Lucy, and he hurries to her side]

Signora~! Signora, how have you-

[Seeing how shaken she looks, his expression becomes one of concern]

Signora..? Are you alright?

[Touching her arm gently, Leonardo speaks softly]

It will be alright, Lucy, trust me

[He see's how nervous she seemed around the portal windows, and as usual, an idea struck him]

If the view makes you uncomfortable, perhaps you'd like to sit in my workshop for a while? There are no windows there, and I have plenty of books and things..

[she looks at him, arms wrapped around herself anxiously, and manages a shakey smile.]

I'd really appreciate that, thank you.

I just never thought I'd have to come back here again...

[The Doctor does not look nervous at all- in fact! He looks rather pleased. He falters however, when he sees the look on Lucy's face]

Are you alright?

... no...

[she turns away, arms wrapped around herself anxiously]

I thought I'd never have to go through this again... I'm frightened...

Oh, Don't be frightened- we won't be on this ship for long I don't think-could be wrong- but I'm usually not.

And if it's bothering you that bad just- stay away from the observation deck.

Yes, but I still know we're in space.

You didn't see it... But you, at least, should know what it's like to see the last of your people burning, to see them running and screaming with nowhere to go..

So excuse me if I'm not particularly fond of being out in space - I've not exactly had the most brilliant time when travelling outside Earth before.

[Jack found that his own surroundings were very foreign to him and he's just as nervous. He decides to explore this ship some and one defining factor that he wasn't on solid ground anymore and is now in space has him very nervous.

He sees Lucy and stops to rush to her side.]

Where are we?

[she's relieved to see him, he's a somewhat comforting element.]

Oh, we could be anywhere. Anywhere in the universe.

Who knows, really?

I just know I'd rather be back with the dinosaurs, at least then you know what you're up against. At least then we know, and we don't feel so small.

[she turns to him, looking like she's about to cry]

Jack... I don't want to be here.

[His own panic is pushed aside, he wants nothing more than to be on land where he knows which direction he's facing. This is too strange for him to take in so suddenly.

Reaching for Lucy and closing the gap between them in an embrace, he comforts Lucy.]

Love, I like it just as much as you though at this moment, I think the better course is to find out why we are here than worrying about what is not here. Savvy?

[she nuzzles into him, taking comfort from him]

I hate these stupid plots.

... at least it probably won't be for long, right?
