[Iroh's in his favorite place, the kitchen, but he isn't his jolly old self. He's got a blanket wrapped around his shoulders and he clutches his cup of tea between two shaking hands. His nose looks rather red.]
To think that I could come down with something like this at my age...
[ Vegeta comes into the kitchen. He's not feeling well himself and makes it apparent with a few coughs into his fist here and there. He was just as irritated being sick and went through the cabinets, looking for sustenance that would somehow soothe him as well as ease his stomach, only hearing part of the old man's words as he spoke. Fuck this being sick bullshit. Vegeta didn't get sick. How could this happen? ]
Figures. I can't imagine how this could have happened without it being a coincidence. [ Obvious sarcasm is obvious. ]
[ Tea actually sounds good. And in a brief moment of hesitation, he takes up your offer. He's not a tea man, but hey, perhaps it will help. Being sick = foreign concept. Y SO STUFFY, PRINCE? ]
[Aoko is not feeling her best either- but you'd never know it because she's absolutely refusing to let it show.]
[She moves into the kitchen, as energetic as ever and moves over to cupboard to get the green tea packets out and start boiling water- the green tea is sure to make her feel ten times better!]
[Hayato walked into the kitchen, hands stuffed in his pockets and an unlit cigarette in his mouth. His lighter had run dry and the most logical place he could think to find a new one was the kitchen. He wasn't feeling exactly ontop of his game, and hoped that a good nicotine fix would make him feel better.
He glances over at the old man, not paying him any mind at first as he looks around the kitchen. Then it slowly enters his mind that he cussed out some 'old-guy-gone-child' not long after he first arrived... and had yet run into any old men since... crap this had to be the guy! Shit... while he wouldn't admit it in a thousand years, he REALLY hadn't handled that week well.
The teen very awkwardly continues his search, looking at a brisker pace then before]
[Hayato jumps fumbling with the lighter he had found and almost dropping it before whipping around to Iroh. Dammit! He was making himself look like an idiot! He quickly straightens up and coughs a bit to clear his throat.]
[Soma was feeling the illness too - and if he hadn't known about the author, he'd have been freaking out a bit more about it; he'd never been sick a day in his life, and he wasn't sure he COULD get sick barring weird intervention.]
[At least he got some schadenfreude out of being aware of Matthias sulking...]
[He'd wandered into the kitchen with plans of the slightly horrible concotion of honey and lemon juice his mother'd inflicted on him, but he paused when he saw Iroh; he remembered the old man from the plot a few months ago...]

[The only sound Malone had made in hours was the gentle chime of his bells. Even whimpering or moaning about his throat being sore hurt too much to do. Thus it is a very subdued Fool that is now crawling miserably into the kitchen on his hands and knees.]

[He smiles as best he can at Vegeta, still clutching his teacup.]
Have some tea. It'll make you feel better.

[He pulls a wry face.]
If that's the case I think our dear Author is running out of ideas.

Eh? [Now she notices she's not the only one here]
Are you okay, Ojisan?
Reply
Yes. It's nothing I haven't dealt with before. Just a head cold.
[He coughs.]
And my chest. I'll be fine.
[He groans theatrically.]

Mou, Ojisan, you should be resting- you can't get better if you don't sleep it off.

[He takes a sip and gulps it down, pulling a face.]
Sore throat. Even tea is less enjoyable now.

Sifu? Are you alright?

I am well, given the circumstances. The aches and pains of age on top of this sickness...I've been better.
