I don't know why, but the room they assigned me is blue. Various shades of blue, actually.

And my notes aren't here. Nothing from home is here, except that all my clothes from home are in the closet here. Which is creepy, but handy.

Well,

[The room looks very close to Metroman's lair but the design isn't quite so stocked with memorabilia except for models of the devices that he used in the past.]

I really should clean up the place a little. You know, out with the old and in with the new? I would have had it done in white but I really didn't get much of a choice this time.

It is nice to get the chance for a proper introduction - I met you briefly, but I'm afraid I wasn't exactly able to do so.

My name is Saguru Hakuba - I usually work as a detective. [The borderline-smug goes a little sheepish.] I was the dragon last week - the Author apparently switched bodies around on a number of us; if you do see her again, don't worry - she's friendly.

If you're around here for a while, the dragon isn't so surprising - people are pulled here from quite a few different worlds.

Ah, reporters... he really sincerely hopes the Author's brought in one of the good ones that're actually helpful.] Yes - I work internationally, mostly on more convoluted robberies, murders, serial killings... sorting out messier cases. [Yes, this is coming from someone young enough that he doesn't look like he'd be out of college yet, at oldest.]
Of course, there's not very much call for any of that here, most of the time.

Now that I'm back in the proper body I feel much more comfortable meeting new people- not that being in a different body would stop me, usually- it might depending on the switch I suppose- but anyway.

Should you need anything- I usually leave my door unlocked because I actually sleep in my TARDIS- which is usually locked and you'll have to knock on the door- but I might not answer though as sound doesn't reach all areas of the TARDIS and it would probably be better just to call me on this thing.
