Fate 02 - ◘[Video]◘ - But that could be lie.

[Have the harsh sound of a fan snapping shut as the beginning of this video. Ryuutaro is grinning his usual mysterious grin, his tone is polite and at the same time you can sense an extreme arrogance in it.]

Good day.
I am humbly delighted to be a guest in this Manor, even though I did not have a choice in first place.
In return for my company ( Read more... )

I don't know.

One doesn't, as far as I'm aware.

I wish I knew.

Those are the answers I have so far. I'm working on trying to find out more but the Manor's remarkably shy when it comes to giving up information.

One doesn't leave? That's not exactly a relief to hear.
I'm assuming people have tried and failed then?

Yeah. There are no obvious ways out and from what I've been told, even when the Author lets us out on her little "field trips", there's still no escape. At the moment, the only way out I can see is if the Author makes it happen.

... the Author? I haven't come across that name until now. Can you explain it to me?

I believe the wall is the outer boundary of the realm we're in. The Author does send people home periodically, some of them for good. As for what kind of "trick", I would suspect some form of shift between - and a fairly powerful one for how far some have been pulled from.

In theory it's possible to find a way to open a path out of here to one world or another - the question is, if we find one, will we know how to open it to any specific world?

And if we ever do breach that wall, is there any sort of guarantee there is anything on the other side?

I'd say it would be worth a try. An extremely careful one at least.
However at the moment that doesn't seem to be worth thinking about, I guess. That wall looks extremely strong and if anybody had a way of destroying it I'd think they had done so by now?

There have been a few tries, yes. I haven't heard of anyone making a dent in it yet.

Not the surprising if that 'Author' really has as big powers as I heard.

[There isn't anything special about this one. Both name, and lifespan are clearly visible and the many anomalies present in the Manor have kept B's attention busy, but there's always time for one more little feed, always room for one more tab to keep on these creatures living here. Especially considering this one's amusing attitude. B could almost approve.]

[Light watches this feed with a raised eyebrow. 'Humbly delighted.' 'Going to get.' There's absolutely nothing humble about this brat- yes, within the span of a minute, Light has already decided this one is just another annoying brat along the lines of Gokudera- and for a moment entertains the idea of not replying to the feed, if only to prove the point that, no, that attitude will not result in receiving kind replies. But very reluctantly...]

No kind replies forthcoming, I'm afraid. No one has the answers to any of those questions.

Oh? Well, at least you took the time to kindly inform me about that. [Fan opening now, hiding everything but his eyes] I'd say that is a start.

[Light isn't so sensitive that he feels this kid's demeanor is an insult directed solely at him, but it doesn't change the fact that everything about him remains personally irritating. So much so that the temptation is to hang up. It isn't Light's job to improve the brat's attitude after all.]

A start indeed, but not the end. I'll be taking my leave now.

[And with perhaps more pleasure than he should have gotten out of it, he hangs up.]

[It was not like Ryuutaro would be exactly insulted by that. He more just shrugs, deciding that this conversation was not worth to be thought about any longer]
