[Light has been trekking through the prehistoric foliage, looking incredibly constipated annoyed. He's already scraped his face against the ground as he tried to get away from a herd of stampeding Triceratops. The gashes on his cheeks and nose has since stopped bleeding, but he is pissed beyond reason that his face is damaged the way it is. When he sees the dinosaur in front of him, his face just falls into an expression that could only be described as... "Oh. Fuck."]

[Light takes a few cautious steps back, never once taking his eyes off the smaller predator. Do these goddamn things climb trees? He can't quite recall, because all he can remember is Nedry being devoured in the car. The gun he received from Sheldon is reassuring in some ways, but he doesn't know if it's enough.]

[He continues backing up until he is pressed against a tree. He starts feeling for a branch...]

[[L is amused from his vantage point not that far off of Light's position. He's fairly certain he's aware somewhat of the specific dinosaur, but then again he's not a paleontologist either.

Being approximately the same height, L hunches slightly against the tree soon to house Light's back, leaning forward and setting one of his legs aside the tree in order to stabilize himself in case they need to bolt. He uses Light's distraction and the trunk of the tree to hide himself, his black, dark eyes looking downward while Light gropes along the tree and eventually the outside of his knee and consequentially only part way his thigh.

He judges that Light isn't aware, or is only at that moment becoming aware of his presence and his low-toned voice, straight laced as always speaks up cautiously.]]
