[The feed comes on to show a 10 year old Nina, in her home away from home - or, the dance studio. After practising her point work for a few hours, she decided she was ready to try out a routine. Although she wasn't as accomplished as she usually was, she wasn't going to let that stop her from rehearsing. A day without practice in the dance world

[Gene watches on just to make sure that she doesn't get hurt. Being trapped in the body of a 9 year-old, he thought it was a good idea to try his luck with the guitar. Even though his hands are way too small for the neck of the instrument, he could still play his scales and at least a few tunes that weren't so elaborate to help break the silence softly over the speakers of her phone.]

[Just finishing the dance for the fifth or sixth time, Nina hears the delicate notes of a guitar coming from her blackberry. She knew who it was, so, smiling softly, she steps over to it, and turns the volume up, without saying a word to Gene. Waiting for what seemed a good cue, she takes up the first few steps again, this time slowing the speed of the routine to match the music]

[He was too involved in watching his fingers and minding the notes to pay attention to his Blackberry. Keeping the rhythm slow and steady, he does his best to make them as clear as possible, eventually shifting the tune to Habanera from the opera Carmen.]

[Likewise, her focus was on each individual step, perfecting them, making them flawless. When she hears the change in tune coming through the speakers, she stops momentarily. Remembering the moves to one of the solo's from the ballet rendition, Nina starts that instead. It had been several years since her Company had put on Carmen, but once she got into it the memory of the moves came to her like she learned them yesterday.

After a few minutes, she stops to get a drink of water, sitting next to the blackberry]

Have you ever seen 'Carmen'..?

[Zira pads past the room and sees the dancing girl]

What are you doing?

[Startled, she stops herself mid-move, and turns to the door to see who was addressing her. When she doesn't see anyone, she goes to continue, when a small lion cub catches her eye]

[Nina's eyes widen as she takes a few steps back. Not out of fear, but just because 'wtf a talking lion?!']

But..y-you're a lion..lions don't talk!

[There's some clapping an a little mew from the doorway. He had no idea what it was she was doing but he assumed she was good at it.]

[He mews a 'your welcome' assuming she would get the gist of what he meant. He would elaborate to ask exactly what it was she was doing, but that would be difficult to communicate with only mews and little yowls]

[Doing a few simple cool down exercises, Nina soon approachs the blonde, picking up her water bottle as she sits near him]

You could use your blackberry to text things..not send them, just to show people, if you wanted to say stuff
