There was a distinct difference between that Holmes and this one. [the one that's gone being movie!Holmes and all]

The only Holmes I acknowledge as the greatest detective is the one sir Arthur Conan Doyle wrote about- the one in this book. [no, he is not looking up]

Wow, and here I thought there wasn't much of a difference between them. Holmes was Holmes no matter what.

[And now Sheldon has a firm grasp that Conan is a snob. No ifs ands or buts about it.]

Whatever kid.

[That and Holmes was his friend so that made the verbal blow hurt and walks out without saying another word.

Conan just officially became one of Sheldon's "do not want" list.]

I don't have anything against that Holmes- he was still a brilliant detective. But he's not the Sherlock Holmes I grew up reading about.
