[ Yukito is sunburned. Badly. The sunscreen that Hatori handed him before either washed off or was too late: his face, shoulders, and back are all horribly sunburned, and for one of the few times in Yuki's short life, he's not smiling.

He folds his shirt in his lap and tries not to wince. ]

Thank you. I didn't even think of aloe.

My mother used to get sunburns.

[He could remember her once getting a bad one on her back and his father attending to her with a cool bottle of aloe.]

the Monster forgot sunscreen once and got a bad burn on her shoulders. I've got experience.
