I'm willing to help, but that question is rather subjective. What constitutes a big event and what does it mean to be connected to it? Some people could have a role in an event while others could be substantially affected by it, for instance.

Right now, I'm only in the beginning process but I'm trying to figure out and why the Author brought us all here-aside from the obvious-she needed a story. But why us?

Something out of the ordinary- maybe something you would read on the news but never dreamed you'd ever be involved in. A murder, a kidnapping, a difficult case, a profound discovery, suddenly finding your self in the jaws of a crime Syndicate- perhaps magic is involved, something supernatural- anything of that nature.
