[A blush creeps over his cheeks, the idea that the author may brought him here because she possibly have found him good looking made him feel rather awkward.]

I-I was always under the impression I was rather scrawny to be honest...

[smiles a bit more comfortabely at the Frenchmans nickname]

Well he appears to be from a more antiquated era... it may have something to do with it.

[A thumbs up with a slightly sarcastic tone to his voice] Yippie. Another weirdo in the throes of chaos, right?

[His smile returns and nods with his lips pursed.] Well, I don't know of many teenage girls that don't like a good looking guy and a few girls thrown in the mix for pairings. I've read the newspaper fiction stories enough to know.

[He sighs and leans his back against the frame.]

I worked with enough of them to know a little more than I care to repeat.

Well that would be all well in good... but I don't have anything to 'pair up' with someone with...

[Something about the mentalitly of young human girls is beginging to disturb him. All the ones he's ever encountered in his world were terrifying]

Are human girls really that... erm... odd...

[He tilts his hands in a disenchanted motion.] Eh. Depends on the girls. Some are nuts.

I've only really met one young woman who seemed to be entirely sane but... I'm not sure she is completely human...

[Dende thinks up a question putting Tom's skills with human women to good use hopefully]

So you may have more insight into the Author's mindset than I would, certainly. Do you have any idea what her motivations are for bringing us here?

[Lolling his head and rolling his eyes with a soft laugh.]

I can come up with a million and one reasons and only one could be right.

[Pulls himself off the frame.]

If she's, oh say, sixteen, I'm betting that she could just be bringing us here for laughs....or when she's in that emo phase, she could get all broody and give us some really cheesy plots. Again, that's just a guess. I gotta know what she's done before to get a good idea what's in that girl's head.

Well, Since I have been here she has sic'd our childhood fears at us, turned a portion of the other residents into 'vampires', sent us to a place called 'Paris', and filled the manor with some bizzare undead monsters that we were forced to fight through.... among a few other things, but I believe that should be enough?

And I take it that this all happened around the month of October?

Right, something about a human holiday. This week, many of the residents have changed in appearence, many have gotten younger, and a few older. I'm not sure if this is permanent or not though. When I first arrived here I was a child but she saw fit to release me as a child and bring me back again only older.

Okay. Now that is weird. Maybe she wanted to see you grow up. Some girls have this funny way of writing stories and sometimes they get this maternal thing going on that's really weird. I contribute it to an increase of hormones in their bodies.

[He lifts his hand and shakes his head.] Don't ask, it's a complicated thing for me to explain. I'm not a doctor. I'm a cop. Huge difference.

We have several doctors in the manor, although I don't think the best doctor in anyone's world could figure this girl out completely...

That's true. [He writes down a few notes and sighs, closing his pen and notebook.] This could take forever.

Well, it's not like we have anywhere to go.

[He smiles awkwardly]

I have noticed that the population does seem to be predominately male, if that help any... although I do believe we have already discussed the reason.

[His brow furrows, almost out of worry.] Yeah. [He already knows about the rumors going around about him which really doesn't set well with him.]
