[Kio has been in the Louvre since early yesterday morning. Since there are no opening/closing hours in this version of Paris he probably won't leave until the Author drags them back to the Manor. [Yes, the Manor's other artist is also hanging out for another afternoon in the Louvre. Despite how enjoyable it is to walk around the streets of Paris alone, it's been hard to keep himself away from this place. He's never considered himself one to gawk at art: the subject he's in school for is really just a hobby, anyway, to go alongside his life as a Fighter. But Soubi can appreciate beauty, when he sees it. That's what he's going to see. On his way back to the halls of Japanese art, he's found this large chamber, and Kio. He calls to him in a hushed museum-voice.]

Kio. Are you sketching that?

[He shakes his head.]

Will you help me find it again?

[want_a_chupa]

Yeah! Of course!

[He jumps up]

[pinnd_buttrfly]

[He starts to make his way down a sprawling hallway, looking left and right.]

[want_a_chupa]

[Kio leads them confidently in the wrong direction. After a few more twists and turns Kio realizes what's happened. He scratches the back of his head. He pulls the map out of his back pocket and frowns over it]

[Soubi looks at the map once, smirks, and turns around.]

It was the opposite direction from where we were.

[want_a_chupa]

Oh. Uh. Maybe you should lead the way, Sou-chan.

[Guilty smile]

[pinnd_buttrfly]

[Soubi starts walking immediately in the direction from which they came. They walk straight and, soon, come upon the statue.]

That wasn't so hard.

Are you sure you haven't been here before, Sou-chan?

[pinnd_buttrfly]

To the Louvre? No.

[He looks up at the statue.]

[want_a_chupa]

Then maybe you've just got a good sense of direction.

[pinnd_buttrfly]

[A wry smile.]

Or I can read maps.

[want_a_chupa]

Hey! I can read maps! ...usually.

[Defensive]

I can't read French okay!

[pinnd_buttrfly]

Nor can you read English, it seems. They're a lot alike.

[Kio takes a closer look at the map and puffs up indignantly]

I knew that it was English. But I still can't read French. Or English.
