[If you've been paying any attention to Fate what she's doing right now is fairly typical. It's early in the morning, and even if it is starting to get chilly, that means she's training. [Beacuse it's his first time seeing the display, Conan will be hovering on the sidelines, watching every action Fate takes and inwardly trying to explain the... glowing blasts.]

[Fate's landing, clothes changing in a glow of golden power. Bardiche is shrinking down to his standby form, and she's starting to make her way back to the manor. She's mostly-ignoring Conan- she needs to get inside before she cramps up.]

[The clothes aren't that hard to explain; a flashbomb, and quick hands, perhaps. Conan gapes slightly when Bardiche shrinks, but says nothing about it as he starts to trail behind Fate.]

Excuse me, uh--[She looked a tad older than her...]neechan?

[She's pausing to look down at Conan- he looks about two years younger than her.] Yes?

How did you make all those really cool flashing lights?

[hasilluminate]

I'm a mage- those lights are magical power.

But there's no such thing as real magic, is there?

[hasilluminate]

[That is a very funny look on her face before she pulls Bardiche out of the pocket he went into, the Device changing forms.] Plasma Lancer!

[Those are glowing yellow daggers that are basically whipping around to blast the hell out of a tree branch, knock it into the air... and let it drop into Fate's hand. There's a faint sheen of sweat on her forehead now, and she's shaking even worse.] I'll let you be the judge of that... but I did grow up in a world with real magic. [Bardiche is flashing at her once before changing into standby mode once more. She's really pushing it.]

You're saying that the people here all come from different worlds? [Conan frowns when he sees Fate's condition.] Are you okay?

[hasilluminate]

[Fate is nodding, sinking to sit down for a moment.] Magic puts a strain on a person's body, in a way similar to physical exertion. I'll be fine.

And you do this often? [Conan looks at her worriedly.]

[hasilluminate]

Not normally, but after a month of bad things happening, I realized that I need to work on building up my endurance. [She's taking a few deep breaths and standing up shakily.] It's cold here. I should get inside. [That said, she's going to take a few wobbly steps toward the manor.]

What bad things? I only saw the monsters. [Then again, he hadn't been here before that. Conan follows her slowly, and upon noticing her shakiness, tries to take her hand and lead her to the manor, for some form of support.]
