I can't believe that I never saw it as a kid - I was twenty-five when I saw it the first time! But the - yeah, also love at first sight. I still have the VHS tapes, although it's the german dubbed version... but still, it's not gonna go away! *clings* Which reminds me - I finally have all six parts on DVD, and I need to do a marathon watch. And one day I'll do a comparing watch of IV - VI, Special Edition versus Original Edition. *g* And when this is over, you can call me Jabba. *g*
Oh hai rambling. Ibuprofen plus coffee... *lol*

It *is* confusing... *lol*
The first film Llama refers to is technically Episode IV - A New Hope. Then came Ep. V - The Empire Strikes Back and then Episode VI - return of the Jedi. Episodes I to III, the Prequels, were filmed waaaay later, but chonologically they come before, duh, Episode IV.
So if you want to see them chronologically in their story, start with Ep.I - Phantom Menace.
Hope that helps...?

i think i understand.... so even though they were filmed out of order, it is best to watch them in chronological order..?

Hm... difficult. If you know the biiig revelation at the end of "Empire Strikes back" already, then I'd say watch them from I to VI. If you don't, then watch first IV to VI and then I to III, otherwise big spoiler...
