Bare feet slide across the floor with the softest sound, almost like they aren't even there. He lets his eyes move, finds the feet in the soft darkness. There's light now that wasn't there before, but it's distant, not really penetrating the night.

Those feet are close, bare skin giving way to denim…denim that encased legs and hips. The fly is open, offering a hint of what waited underneath. He shifts uncomfortably on his knees. He'd known before he came here what would happen.

He was a sacrifice, sent to appease this…monster. Though as his eyes move past the waistband and onto bare, golden skin, he isn't sure anymore about that. It's difficult to think about the people found dead, drained of life when he looks at him
