Summary: An odd homework assignment gives Harry, Ron & Hermione the boost they need in the arduous battle against Voldemort.

"So, remind me again exactly what poetry has to do with Transfiguration?"

"Well, actually Ron, I think you'll find that…" Hermione sighed and shook her head, placing her quill back in the inkbottle. "I have no idea," she admitted. "Harry, do you?" She asked, frowning when he didn't answer her. "Harry?"

"Guys, listen to this; 'Dulce et decorum est pro patria mori'. It means…"

"It is sweet and right to die for your country," Hermione whispered. She glanced at both Ron and Harry, tears shining in her eyes. "I think I know why McGonagall wanted us to read this poem."
