Another night and another bad dream found Cody sitting bolt upright in his bed; his knees pulled to his chest and the covers pulled around him. He glanced fearfully around the room, his eyes meeting Zack’s in the darkness.
Without a word, Zack shuffled over in his bed and held the covers up, a silent invitation for Cody to join him.
A grateful smile and Cody slid out of bed and padded across the room, curling up next to Zach; his twin’s arm wrapped protectively around him.
“Thanks,” Cody whispered.
“Don’t mention it,” Zack replied, yawning. “And I mean never.”
