I want to go on holiday. Everyone at work is either going on holiday or just come back from holiday or booking a holiday. I... have no holiday in my future. I have no pennies to go on holiday nor very much leave left to book from work

You are not the only one. I´m counting the work day until I go on vacation (it´s six btw) and I´m not going to do a thing because I´ve figured out I´m just happy to sit at home and do NOTHING (but read and watch TV and possible write). I don´t need a resort, I don´t need a pool. Oh, don´t get me wrong, I´d love to go but I´d be stir crazy in 5 minutes.

I get it, everyone needs a break - from the work and co-workers (I don´t know which is more important). A week off can do wonders to charge your batteries....

I hear you. I can barely afford my ten days at sea that I will have in August, but I need it. My batteries are empty, and if I'm only at home, I know that something will be coming up and occupy me again...
