Nina was so beautiful last night (or rather, I watched it before work today). Her absolute *joy* at being human and feeling human, even feeling pain, getting all of her compelled-away-memories back...somehow, becoming human again, becoming something organic put magic back in her eyes. It was so beautiful.
If Elena Gilbert can love Damon Salvatore more than she thinks is humanly possible, if she could change so much that she could accept him, and love him as unconditionally as she does, then she has to acknowledge that he could change just as much.
I completely agree with you- if she somehow talks him out of it, with a sort of this is who you are, be free, little bird kind of talk, I'm going to be bullshit. (I'm sure I'm preaching to the choir.)

Also I totally squealed when Kai popped up at the end especially cause he looked to devilishly handsome.
