I meant to tell you that I did love that DE video you left for me the other day. I was at my sister's and the internet connection was really iffy there, so I think when I wanted to respond to it, I couldn't and then I got distracted by Caroline once I had good access again.

So, I'm glad you liked this! I think Caroline is so interesting because she's had so many love interests, and hasn't been tied to just one person the whole series, so it was fun to go back and revisit my perceptions of those relationships. As always, I'm happy we share those perceptions :D

I was so sad after I read your prompt, and then I started to think about each of Caroline's relationships, and it just wouldn't leave me alone. So I'm glad you liked it, and that the thread built up right for you! I too think that all of Care's relationships have led her to this with Stefan...actually really beautifully, because she won't take any crap now after all she's been through. Even the aftermath of her relationship with Tyler proved that, and so I'm so excited to see her continue to be powerful even while being vulnerable with Stefan.

This was lovely. The Matt part made me sad, because everything about Matt Donovan breaks my heart, but the Stefan part...That is the thing I'm so excited about. The way that Caroline unhinges him, and he's not in control. I can't wait to see it develop!

I often think of doing a S1 rewatch, and then I remind myself that the Matt stuff will break my heart, so I don't. I just start with S3, after Matt and Caroline are really finished, and I started shipping him with Bonnie. :D

I too am excited to see Stefan earn it with Caroline. I want to see him figure it out, and then I want to see him prove it to her. I hope we get some form of that onscreen!
