Getting all caught up on my shows...

So I've been home sick the last couple of days, and am now current on all my shows, which is AMAZING.

I don't know if anyone will want to talk about these, but here are some thoughts, nonetheless.

The Newsroom is ending???????? NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO! *cries* I only discovered the show during latest TVD 2 weeks hiatus and watched all episodes aired in a row - and i looove it so so so much! And what a shame it's the end already! Why, why ( ... )

I'm pretty much sure the show is ending because of low ratings (it airs on HBO). The first two seasons were 10 episodes each, and this third season only got 6 eps, and I'm sure that's because Sorkin had a deal with the network. He's very savvy when it comes to stuff like this, and I'm sure his agreement with them included giving him enough time to wrap things up sufficiently ( ... )

Oh, but I'd love that story, where Elena is the one chasing Damon instead. Although the sneak peek clip of the two of them from tomorrow's episode is all kinds of adorable. I will go in expecting to love it all and then be gutted by the end, because it's TVD. That's just how it goes!
