I feel like Barry/Caitlin is being given just as much of a chem-test as Barry/Iris (and they might be trying to follow Arrow's blue print, I can't be sure, I don't know anything about the comics).

But I will say, without spoilering you too much...that as of last night's episode, Plastique, I started shipping Barry and Iris a very little bit.

But I definitely picked up on Barry/Caitlin first. Also, as of now, Iris is definitely the weakest (least developed) character.

Ooooh, maybe that's it. I don't see what the big deal is about Iris, other than she's pretty. So, yeah, some development of her might help. I think I'll be watching all the episodes to be caught up today (I'm home sick, so that's convenient). But yeah, as of right now, Caitlin is more interesting to me because of her backstory. Plus, I feel something when she and Barry look at each other, not just him longing for her, but a real connection. Like with him and Felicity.

I should correct that...it's not so much that I started to actually *ship* them (I don't know if I do that for anyone on this show, yet), but I started to see the chemistry, and possibilities. (And I did pick up on Barry/Caitlin first, in any case.)

Yes, The Flash is the spinoff of Arrow. If you ever get to 2x08 of Arrow, you will meet Barry Allen. And he will meet Felicity. And Oliver will be jealous, and it's glorious. :D

But then Barry gets his own show. But there are crossovers, ala The Originals.

Do I get tomatoes thrown at me if I confess to writing Barry/Artie (from Glee)? Because I just can't explain it, it CALLS TO ME.

Beyond that I'm pretty ship-free with Flash so far. I am okay with Iris but I don't need them together.

Well, since slash ships with no possibility of ever happening have never bothered you, I don't suppose the odds never being in your favor bother you? ;-)

But Barry was on Glee, right? I would like to hear him sing. But I suppose there's no call for the Flash to ever sing.

I am warming to Iris more now, but yeah, don't feel any shippy feelings. I know how old I'm getting now, though, because my favorite character is Joe, hands down, LOL.
