My Top 10 Favorite Damon/Elena Scenes (Season Four)

I made a list similar to this one last year, but it spanned the first three seasons (it's HERE if you'd like to see it). I was suddenly possessed a few weeks ago to want to make another post, but limit the span of time to S4 only as there are so many GREAT Damon and Elena

A very good list, though I have to confess I am not that enamored of your #1. Not because of the sentiments of it, of course that is the way to get through to him, it's just that the whole scene is overblown in a way that Damon/Elena are not.

Agree to disagree? I just felt like it was all coming for so long, and I was glad they shouted it all out. It worked for me, 100%, obviously.

Interesting that a lot of the scenes count down to the finale, it implies there was a good build up during the season. I very much enjoyed reading about your top ten... could me mine (maybe different order) except your nr.9 - "The Five" was a disappointment for me in more ways than one - but I have to admit after reading your thoughts on the scene(s) I feel better about it. Thank you for sharing!:)

I didn't enjoy the dance scene in *The Five* and it colored my opinion of the whole episode for a long time, but if you go back and watch all the other scenes, minus the dance scene, it's BEAUTIFUL Damon and Elena stuff. Just gorgeous. Seriously, every scene except the crack-head *dirty* (ha, whatevs) dancing is just aces. But that ending one just kills me every time. So perfect.

And yeah, for me, it was a perfect build up all season to that final scene between them.

I am not sorry neither for loving Delena to the extreme. I love your top ten list but who says we have to stick to a top ten list; why can we do twenty. :) I love reading your analysis of Delena moments.

Great list, I feel like re-watching all those scenes now, even if I always re-watch the latest season (or all of them!) during the long break between the seasons. lol
