Awww. I just read the whole thing in a few hours and just awww. I loved how you took all the strands of the mythology and the history that we have and made this story that makes so much sense in context of the canon we had when you started this. I loved the development of the relationship, the exploration of Damon's fears and concerns, Lydia was awesome, and I loved how despite all that crazy stuff happening, the focus was on Damon and Elena. Always on them. I really loved the repeat of "I will always choose you" from Elena to Damon, that just made me all verklempt.

And, of course, I loved that in the end it was Damon/Elena, Stefan/Caroline and Elijah/Katherine. :D

You can go on all you like about the characters, Candy, but the fact remains that it's your awesomeness that brings them to life in such a wonderful, expressive, and touching way.
I wish I could find a more eloquent way of saying how much I loved reading this story.
It takes some doing for a story to have me laughing, and crying, and being just speechless and yours did it all (repeatedly, I might add).

You guys... It is so incredible to me that authors are so dedicated that they keep at it! THe ammount of determination this kind of project takes makes my jaw drop!

I haven't read anybodies stories yet (I used to do that at work and now I ave extra tasks so the fun is over...) but man... I think I'm set for life!

I've read your manifestos and your fics before, so I know what I'm reccing :) And it's also a sign that I am in awe of people so dedicated to their writing that they stick with a process this long. It sometimes makes me a little sad that there is sooooo much talent out there that will never be acknowledged offline. So what ever I can do!
