I liked that Elena was being honest about her pull towards Damon during the story. Also Damon giving her something so personal seems very in character for him. The best part, was Stefan assuming that he'd still be first in her heart and her realizing that a lot has changed and not blindly taking him back. A very intersting O/S.

I don't think Stefan assumed anything--he was hesitant, and then he saw the necklace, and it made him realize it's not just his absence, but Damon's presence that has changed things. It will be interesting to see how it plays out onscreen!

I definitely want Elena to start being honest--at least with herself!

I really enjoyed this. I liked the pacing and the intent of the story - it was romantic, and true to the show.

<3 I really like you way you were able to express Elena's emotions.

Oh, thank you. I know lots of time with fanfic the fun of it is to get something we don't get from the show, but I appreciate that this one reminded you of the show as it's delivered to us. That was definitely part of my intent, as well as getting into Elena's heart of hearts.
