Just want to take a moment to say that I thought Damon was incredibly sexy throughout 2x03. I really liked him in that shirt, and he had like some extra swagger or something. Every time I see him shiver after Elena pulls the arrow out, I shiver, too. I didn't get that kinda hot for him again until 2x06. That's all. :P
I've seen/read other people saying they found Damon in 2x04 to be weaker, getting the shaft, lessened in some way. I don't really see it that way, because despite his failure with Mason, he walks away from Katherine, and that makes him glorious to me.
I liked him in 2x04 (well, lol, I always like him), I just didn't have any of those shivery, I need to fan myself moments.
What was wrong with him in 2x05?
*blushes* ...his hair. That's when it first started to bug me. Before then, I felt like something was different, but I couldn't put my finger on it, but it became glaringly obvious to me while they were at the Historical Society. I am. so. shallow.
I had to fan myself during 2x06 because his absolute, total bamf-ness just could not be denied, regardless of his hairstyle. Plus, I, um, have a soft spot for henleys. *blushes furiously*
OMG, I know, his hair is driving me crazy this season. I just don't understand how the hair and make up people, when working upon a canvas as gorgeous as Ian could do something to possibly make him look bad--but the hair is awful. I've trained myself to stop looking at it and fixating on it, and instead just look at his beautiful face.
He's a little CRAZY in 2x06 while he's torturing Mason, but honestly, I don't ever find him unattractive. It's such a mystery to me, because when he was Boone, I was like, he's alright, but now I'm like, get outta my way!. Growing up a little and putting on a little muscle weight has made him simply irresistible.
